Your call-out fee includes travel, diagnosis and the first hour. Set your own price; quote anything beyond the first hour plus parts. Customers pay your full call-out upfront, so no-shows and late cancellations are paid.
Pick the plan that suits how much work you take through Callout. A lower commission means more of every job stays with you. Change or cancel whenever you like — changes apply to new bookings.

Plans are chosen and paid for here on our website, never in the app. Pro and Elite are monthly subscriptions, billed by Stripe. A plan change applies to new bookings only — each booking keeps the rate it had when it was made. Switching between Pro and Elite takes effect straight away and the difference is adjusted on your next bill. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the month you've paid for, then move to Starter. If a payment fails, new bookings are on Starter's rate until it goes through. In search, distance and availability always come first; your plan only breaks ties between otherwise equal plumbers (Elite, then Pro, then Starter). See our Terms.
Commission is charged on the call-out fee and extra labour. Commission is never taken on materials or parts, as long as you upload a valid receipt for them.
At booking, the customer pays your full call-out fee plus a £2 booking fee. Callout takes the larger of your plan's rate on the call-out fee and the £10 minimum from the call-out straight away. If you send a quote for extra labour and parts, any remaining commission comes out of the quote payment. If the job's done within the first hour, there's no quote and nothing more is taken.
If the quote is paid in cash outside the app, Callout keeps only what was taken at booking. We never charge you afterwards for that, for cancellations or for no-shows.
Problems with the work: if a customer reports a problem within 14 days, you can offer to come back and fix it at no cost within 7 days. If it isn't fixed and we refund the customer, your share of the refund comes off your future payouts (shown on your earnings with the booking reference) — Callout covers anything not recovered within 60 days. That's the only time anything is taken back after you've been paid.
Elite has no commission and no per-job minimum. Instead, you pay Stripe's actual card fees on your own jobs. They're taken from your payout and shown on your earnings.

On any cancellation, Callout keeps only the customer's £2 booking fee. It never comes out of your share.
